A.L. Fortune Secondary is located in Enderby, a picturesque community right below the famous Enderby cliffs and beside the Shuswap River. Locals and tourists can often be found hiking the cliffs or floating down the historic Shuswap River where steamboats used to stop. Enderby is known for a variety of outdoor activities, including tubefloating, hiking, canoeing and kayaking, golfing, snowmobiling, slowpitch, softball and cross-country skiing. Agriculture, forestry, retail and tourism form the backbone of the economy.
