Locals and tourists can often be found hiking the cliffs or floating down the historic Shuswap River where steamboats used to stop. Enderby is known for a variety of outdoor activities, including tubefloating, hiking, canoeing and kayaking, golfing, snowmobiling, slowpitch, softball and cross-country skiing. Agriculture, forestry, retail and tourism form the backbone of the economy.
