Eagle River Secondary is located in Sicamous, a popular vacation destination during all four seasons of the year. Its location on the shores of both Mara and Shuswap Lakes helped the community earn the title of Houseboat Capital of Canada. The community is surrounded by four world class sledding areas (Queest, Owlhead, Blue Lake and Eagle Pass). In Sicamous, community members and visitors have the opportunity to snowmobile, golf and boat all in the same day during parts of the year.
